Abstract wall art:
Abstract wall art can be the definition of independence. Art created in a form that is abstract is a direct break from the monotony of a life that too often falls into a routine. Change is what shapes the mind into thinking productively. Dissecting the abstract will change the way an individual understands the moment. By forcing the viewer to think in ways previously unknown to the soul, the ultimate result translates into an expansion of the imagination and psyche. A unique facet of abstract wall art is its ability to control emotions. Images of this genre can stimulate the spectator's deepest thoughts, while revealing a hidden affection previously unknown. Conversely, abstract wall art can build on and accelerate the current mood of its audience.

When trying to interpret a piece of abstract art, the current emotional state of the viewer will always mirror the explanation provided. The mind will use the present state of desire or melancholy to help the spirit understand and interpret the piece in question. This is done subconsciously, and cannot be avoided. Abstract wall art creates a perspective unlike any available in the reality of life. This is what makes abstract art successful in testing the boundaries of a society built around an ordinary routine. The genre provides the artist with a setting that can take the finished product steps beyond anything considered revolutionary. Abstract art does not exist in a world simplified by yes or no, but rather forces the audience to ask why. This forces the viewer to think for oneself, and creates an opinion unlike any other. Much of the power developed through abstract art has to do with the imagery created in the piece. By using imagery unfamiliar to everyday life, the author successfully triggers a reaction that the subject is not accustomed to. While abstract art tends to display the psyche of the audience through interpretation, it also exhibits the emotions of the artist. The artist will always trend toward inventing artwork that is directly related to the current mood of the author. When creating a piece of work deemed as abstract, it is nearly impossible for the artist to keep a symbol relative to one self out of the image. This empowers the work to cast an expression of a certain feeling on an individual, depending on the inspiration of the artist. Abstract wall art can serve to nurture the spirit while inspiring the subconscious, with all this happening before the viewer can even realize the change in direction has occurred
The word 'abstract' could be defined as something that is not referenced to a particular instance; thus abstract painting is that from of art that does not reveal its message directly. These paintings have hidden stories or messages in them. During the early part of the 20th century, the term abstract art was used to describe Futurist and Cubist art forms. The term 'non-figurative art' is also used to describe these works of art. Abstract art has been around ever since the time Jewish and Islamic religions have existed. In Jewish and Islamic religious practices, the depiction of the human form was forbidden, thus abstract art became a medium through which artist at the time used to display their thoughts. Abstract art draws a distinct difference between fine art and decorative art. James McNeill Whistler was one famous artist who emphasized on visual sensation rather than the depiction of objects. He once said that, 'art should concern itself with the harmonious arrangement of colors, just as music deals with the harmonious arrangement of sounds.' The works of artist such as Wassily Kandinsky and Kasimir Malevich as well as Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, during the early 1900s is looked upon as the first era of fully abstract paintings. Any form of art needs a form of expression; paintings too can be expressed through various mediums. Abstract paintings are commonly used as decorations and are setup as wall hangings so as to enhance the aesthetic value of the room.
